4 eyed phreak, whut?

You know that random girl who sat in the back of your english class in high school? The one who did well, but didn't speak much, at least not to you? The one always scribbling in a note book, one of the few people who looked like they actually had somewhere better to be than in the classroom?
Yeah, you never got to know her, and maybe you regret it. Or maybe, you don't regret it, because you never thought of her outside of the classroom, and you can't possibly know what you missed out on. Or what you are missing out on. Or who she was or is or could be.
Fast forward 5 years.
I was that girl. Or maybe I still am. Either way, that's me. Except now, my hair is pink, and I wear brighter clothes, and I don't like to blend into the scenery so much. I longboard (or at least, I'm learning to), and play video games, and watch cartoons. I smoke copious amounts of marijuana, go to rock concerts, and live with an eager energy most people reserve for trips to the dessert bar. And I laugh, outloud, a lot. Oh yeah, and fucking, I like that too.
I'm no emo kid, no punk rocker, no misfit. I ain't no indie hipster kid either. I certainly am not the lame friendless nerd you wrote me off as all those years ago. Except for the nerd part, I am a bit of that. Especially on Sunday mornings with I'm playing Super Nintendo in Spongebob Pajamas.
I'm an audiophile, an otaku, a dork. A hopeless blogger and a helpless writer. On the inside, I'm the girl you'd love to take home to your mom. On the outside, I'm the girl she warned you about. I've got pink hair and not enough tattoos, and fuck me if I'm ever looking drab. I'm also a hellof a lot friendlier than you were all those years ago, but it's ok, there's no grudge, because people change. You're probably a lot cooler now than I thought you were back then too.
I still often look like I actually have somewhere better to be though. And if you have to wonder if I do, chances are, you're right.

I want to meet:
geeks, nerds, dorks, Jesus, anyone who listens to Shibuya-Kei, cartoon phanatics, ironic hipsters, audiophiles, otaku, gaijin, deep thinkers, heavy drinkers, those who see oppertunity in a puddle, loners, stoners, radio stars, Spongebob Squarepants, 50s housewives, lovers, fighters & controversy igniters, Yoshimi, bloggers, rhinestone cowboys, longboarders, children in adult sized bodies, DJs, VJs, people who kick it in PJs, wannabe MCs, lyrical failures, philisophical zealots, future ex-boyfriends, anyone with a wooden leg, & one of these guys..

It strikes me that if you are going to be open enough with the outside world to place your journal online, you should not have to worry about someone being offended. Those people who choose to examine the world through your eyes by reading an entry must take what they find.
